I received my PhD in 2001 from the University of Georgia, Athens. I began practicing in 2004 and served 10 years in Community Mental Health before opening my own practice in 2013. I am a straight-forward, no-nonsense, encouraging practitioner with a good sense of humor and a heart for helping others overcome personal adversity, adjustments, and struggles. I am strength-focused and use empirically based strategies to aid in change. My goal is to help you reach your goal.
